This will be the first seminar to present the New Modern System, NG Wing Chun and Wa-Lu Chuan Fa, co-founded by Sijo Tam Bei Lam/Sr Grand Master, Jack H. Lannom 10th level black sash and Sijo Tou Lung Gra/Sr. Grand Master L.R. Gray 10th level black sash, Sr. Wing Chun student of Dr John W.L. NG of Whitesburg, Kentucky. There will be 4 seasonal certification workshops per year. This new modern style is a combination of Wa-Lu Chuan/NG Wing Chun and Kali Stick and Knife fighting. Sijos Gray and Lannom have appointed a Sigung Board of highly skilled and accomplished grand masters which are as follows:
- Grand Master David Gaw 9th level black sash, former world champion in Wing Chun wooden dummy and as Sijo Gray’s senior student, chosen son to head up SiLum NG Wing Chun Kuen upon his passing.
- Longtime private student Sigung Marcus Vickers 8th level black sash with over 35 years’ experience as Sijo Gray’s understudy
- Sigung Nancy Compton 8th level black sash under Sijo Gray, one of Grand Master John Dufresne’s top Tai Chi Chuan, Wu Shu and Shaolin Kung Fu students; also a private Wing Chun and competitive Tai Chi forms champion
- Sigung Ashley King 8th level black sash, head of Kali stick and knife fighting, Southeast Asian Weapons division; highly skilled in Wing Chun grappling arts; body guard to the Judges in Rutherford County (TN) and Chief Instructor in weapons for Gray Dragon/White Tiger Martial Arts.
- Sigung Hal Cassell 7th level black sash began training with Sijo Gray at 5 years of age, lifelong private closed door student and personally trained by Sijo Gray; also holds 7th level Black sash in Chi Kung and is the appointed President of Gray Dragon / White Tiger Martial Arts Society
- Sigung Rick Pietila 7th level black sash under Sijo Gray, will be in China competing in a world Tai Chi tournament, private closed door student of Sijo Gray, ran schools in the upper peninsula (MI) for many years, advanced training Sil-lum NG Wing Chun, Chen Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Sim Weng Chun. The workshop will be mostly Wa-Lu drills/forms, dummy form, and Chi building exercises. Sijo Jack Lannom has been training, teaching, and amazing crowds since the mid-60s. His power and speed are known throughout the world. His internal power reflex and energy skills are larger than life stories that have drawn thousands. He is truly a Grand Master of internal energy boxing. His claims to fame include his world record of breaking over 3,600 pounds of ice and throwing energy through 2-3 feet of phone books with a 3-6 inch punch. His is truly a one of a kind and has developed hundreds of high level
students and champions in the United States.
Sijos Gray and Lannom together have taught over 25,000 students and promoted over 1,000 black belt students. Sijo Gray has been a long time student since the early 70s when he was 16 years of age. He credits his 1989 World Heavyweight title in Kou-Shu Kickboxing to his training with Sijo Lannom. Wa-Lu is famed for its high level of energy projection. Gray Dragon White Tiger Martial Arts
